The International Tennis Club of Washington, also known as Prince’s Court, has an outstanding facility, engaging activities, and an excellent organization. Most importantly, we are friendly people who love the game and all it offers. Talk to any member, or either of our two professionals, and you’ll find a warm welcome to the sport, its history, and the Prince’s Court family!

A Community of Tennis Players and Enthusiasts
Prince’s Court has over 100 members. Most of us live in the Washington, DC area, but we come from all places and occupations and walks of life to don tennis whites and join in the fun. Some of our members have played lots of (lawn) tennis before, others are new to racquet sports, while still others bring competitive skills and experiences from other sports. All members share a love of the sport and the entertainment and challenge it offers. Our interests range broadly; from social doubles to competitive singles; from history to sport to après-sport; from friendship to networking to dating. Our handicaps range from 6 to over 60, and so do our ages! With the handicap system in place, and players of all standards enjoying and learning this fascinating game, there’s surely a place for you at Prince’s Court.

The Best Court Tennis Facility Ever
We have an unsurpassed court for fast-paced play, spectating, and court-side socializing. Built in 1997, Prince’s Court is ten years new, and is the only court in the world with a main wall made of glass. This offers an unparalleled opportunity to see the game from a great perspective, while enjoying our comfortable lounge, sofas, and nearby kitchen/bar area. There is a fully-equipped pro shop at one end of the viewing lounge, a convenient restroom, and comfortable additional seating in the dedans. In addition, Prince’s Court offers ready access to all the usual sportsclub amenities of the Regency Sport & Health Club (downstairs); sauna, steam, whirlpool, massage, locker room, swimming pools, squash, racquetball, casual restaurant, clay- and hard-court lawn tennis courts..

    Tennis Activities Of All Kinds
With weeknight handicap doubles league play, our extensive junior program, club and national tournaments, professional exhibitions, and sip ‘n hit socials, Prince’s Court has activities to interest everyone. Our pros schedule regular clinics, arrange hitting partners, and give great private and group lessons. There are abundant opportunities to learn more about the game, with interested partners. We frequently travel, too, to other court tennis clubs along the east coast, or overseas, and host our visitors when they come to the Washington area. For the full set of activities, see the rest of the website, or log onto our online court reservation system to see what’s happening hour-by-hour today! .
